Seems even angels
dream of special angels
similar in mind
and heart. Longing to
love, to cherish as
much as celebrate,
revere such intimate
affection in return.

An angel you know
as he knows of you
that, though, perhaps
never met and distant
paths now fly, there is
spirit knowing bright
as a star, the two
of you are never
far apart within
the heart of dreams

So my prayer for you,
a most special angel,
as you have been to me
whom you have caused to
gleeful laugh and grin,
understanding with
compassion wrapped 'round
shared out of the mind,
the soul, memories
bright and dark, and smiles
yet to unfold.

Serenity and joy
etch this smile upon
my face, to hope that
one day and soon, he'll
come to you, then fly
together into
paradise you've yet
to know, my friend I
trust this must be so,
for blessing that you
are, surely must you
one day be so blessed.
